LEGENDARY DOGS by Goddess-Chachi LEGENDARY DOGS by Goddess-Chachi
Ah...the colored version got done quickly :3

Thanks to all who came to the stream while I colored this. :)

Their names are (in my nuzlocke; remember, all legends have preordained names):
Raikou- Apollo (female)
Suicune- Ronan (male...or female, doesn't care ^^;)
Entei- Pyron (male)

Legends have no gender in reality, because they are considered "Gods". It's explained as "in exchange for eternal life, they lose the ability to distinguish themselves into classes like gender and age". However, nearly all legendaries assume genders, to make their lives easier. All of them will show up more than once in the nuzlocke, so don't worry. Not as much as Suicune, but the other two will show up :D Quite randomly, too.

Pokemon (c) GAMEFREAK, Nintendo, etc.

.........Okay, Chachi. I'm going to say it. Because it'll bug me forever if I don't.

RAIKOU, SUICUNE, AND ENTEI ARE NOT DOGS. THEY'RE CATS. FHSKJLGFDHSJGFKLSDKLK
There, I said it :meow:
I feel better.

But aside from that, I love the way you've portrayed them :D I never thought of Raikou as female, or Suicune as male, for that matter (btw, you really do enjoy playing around with gender-attributes, don't you? XD)

Hey, it's my nuzlocke, I can make 'em dogs if I wanna! =3= And officially, they're known as dogs, anyways, so there. :icondivaplz:

Technically speaking, legends don't have genders in my nuzlocke. Each legend only assumes a gender based on their personal preferences. As for that, I don't necessarily see any of the legends with any specific gender. It just so happens that in this run, Apollo (Raikou) is "female" and Ronan (Suicune) is "male". I'm strange like that; always paying attention to stuff others just assume stuff about :XD: And yes, Chachi enjoys gender neutrality~

FFFF WELL OKAY THEN :P
..Actually
OFFICIALLY they're known as "The Legendary Beasts".
People just started calling them dogs cuz they kinda look like dogs.
But they're actually big cats (sabertooth tiger, lion, and leopard/panther) :meow:
So.......there :icondivaplz: //shot

That's actually interesting; I look at it an entirely different way. In my mind, most legendaries DO have genders, and the only reason they don't in the game is because the creators needed a way to prevent players from breeding them. I don't look at them as actual gods; I see them as Pokemon that were created for the purpose of acting as gods (well, it's a bit more complicated than that depending on each legend, but you get the drift). The fact that people choose to revere them as gods doesn't actually make them so. In the real Pokemon world, I imagine that most classified "legendary" Pokemon actually mate and breed just like regular Pokemon do. Again, most of this thinking comes straight from Latias' Journey; I can't take all the credit.. :P

Psssh. In my eyes, they'll forever be dogs. DOGS I TELL YOU//shot. I know they're cats. I just...there was a translation error in an English dub once, and they were called dogs. Whatever. I don't care; for my run, their big ass puppies. :XD:

Thanks. It makes sense to me, though, that legends are genderless. Besides, they could've still given them genders. Nidorina and Nidoqueen are unbreedable, even though they are the gender of female. :) But each "universe" we create for pokemon have different understandings of said creatures. In one run I read, legends don't even exist. <:3
