I've done a female tutorial already, but this one is just a small, detailed thing to help with proportions and what not. It's also based off of my own body, so it's fairly accurate.

I didn't include hair because that's not important. But all the proportions should be easy enough to figure out from this. Hope it helps you, Mad-Rev! If you want that live tutor session, let me know!

Proportions :
:bulletred: Humans are 6-7 heads tall
For a 7-head tall person:
:bulletorange: Shoulder width of females is about 1 1/2 heads
:bulletyellow: neck--->breast= 1 head
:bulletgreen: breasts--->pelvis (hip)= 1 head
:bulletblue: pelvis (hip)---> mid thigh= 1 head
:bulletpurple: mid thigh---> knee=1 head
:bulletwhite: knee---> mid shin= 1 head
:bulletblack: mid shin---> feet=1 head

Of course, you can adjust your proportions within this model! Just remember to keep it between 6-7 heads for proportion purposes! :)

Also, some extra tips:
For "realistic" drawings of the face (mostly)
:bulletred: the space between your eyes is equivalent to one eye
:bulletorange: your nose width is about the width between your irises (the black part of your eyes)
:bulletyellow: Ears are the length from your eyebrows to your nose.
:bulletgreen: Lips equal your entire eye lenth from corner to corner
:bulletblue: Face in 3 parts: hairline--->eyebrow, brow--->upper lip, upper lip---> beggining of neck. ALL THREE PARTS should be equal!

Also remember that females (in general) are SMALLER than men!

No, people can be 6 heads tall. I've measured people by their heads. Most everyone in my family and many people I know are 6-6 1/2 heads tall. Very rarely is one 7 heads. They'd have to be tall. ^^;

but i all so checked after the class i started counting roundom ppl and thy were all 7 heads and Israelis arnt that tall

:shrug: Even in my art books it says people are 6-7 heads high. I'm not a very good judge of "tall" myself. lol I'm only 4'11" ^^;

Thanks, I'm glad it is. :)

Yep, I do tutor lessons as well, usually via join.me. I show watchers techniques, and post the sessions on DA. In fact, that's what most of my tutorials are: tutor sessions I've done in the past. XD
