...Whitney was horrible. I dreaded this set from the moment I started my nuzlocke. This has been the hardest part for me to do emotionally, physically, mentally... everything. I can't even describe to you the feelings I had when this happened. It was... catastrophic. Whitney's Clefairy wasn't taken out in one hit, but I did so here because it was easy to get rid of nonetheless. She wasted her super potion on that poor thing, but Chikoru still make quick work of it. Then that MILTANK.

I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THE ABILITY SCRAPPY UNTIL I SENT VAST OUT AND HE WAS HIT! Oh, I burned with rage at that. To top it off, the damn heffer used attract, so Vast didn't attack. Hypnosis missed, and I got frustrated, so I sent Tepi out. Tepi did well, but the rollouts were too much for her and I paniced at the thought of losing her. So I switched to Chikoru, and the Miltank rolled him out to low yellow health. At that time, I figured to try with Vast again, and while he wasn't at FULL health, he still had a high green bar.

ONE. CRITICAL. STOMP.

And he was gone.

I was in shock, quite frankly. I stopped playing for minutes and just stared at the screen. I couldn't believe that had just happened... I had so much planned for Vast's character, and this...this... THING took him out. I lost my train of focus after that and accidentally sent out Ampiron. The damn Miltank sent HIM to low yellow in a matter of 2 hits as well, so I decided to screw it all, healed Chikoru, and sent him out again. A magical leaf attack finally did her in. But the battle was hell. Ampi, Tepi, and Chikoru were all in low yellow. I couldn't risk sending Fright or Kita out with that rollout Whitney was spamming. And milk drink is the WORST MOVE EVER. I still get angry when I think about this fight. It's so unfair...

I seriously almost quit the game at this point, even though I had won. Losing my first catch... losing Vast...felt like losing Chikoru or Tepi. I always have a Gengar on my team or in my posession, no matter what generation. And Whitney destroyed that. Also... hints to stuff about Chikoru. Hm hm.

Artwise, I'm very happy with this set. I tried some new blending techiniques and actually used layers. Lots and lots of layers. My favorite panels are the "V.S." panels. I don't know why; that face off is just so... EPIC. By the way, you CAN kill someone with a high heeled shoe. Got the idea from this old movie called Single White Female. And it should be pretty obvious where Luna-pon's name originates from. I thought that was fitting.

Now excuse me while I go cry my tears of heartache all over again. This was rough on my system, for real.

<sub>On a different note, some fun facts:
-Whitney used to date Markus, the red-headed hairstylist. They broke up shortly after Whitney became a gym leader, which was about a year ago. The reason they broke up was because Whitney developed a "thing" for Lance (yep, the Champion) and Markus couldn't take Whitney's change in personality. She became overbearing and obsessed with power.

-Matilda was bred by Lance for Whitney. He recognized her skill as a trainer, and entitled her gym leader of Goldenrod himself. He did this shortly after Crystal's father disappeared a year ago, as a method to prevent Crystal from suceeding on her mission. Yeah, the champion is an ass.

-That gengar shadow thing will show up again. You're free to guess who the hell the gengar is. That being said, Vast's story is continuing, but...without him. More will be revealed later.</sub>
